Bus Exchange Switches

A bus exchange switch is a device used to switch digital signals in a data bus. These Bus exchange switches are arrays of FET switches that can perform various functions, including the physical isolation of two buses. Multiplexers and de-multiplexers are analog switches that provide high-speed switching. The low ON resistance of these FET switches allow inputs to be connected to outputs without adding propagation delay or generating additional ground bounce noise.
