Introduced in 2000, Camera Link® was the first interface built specifically for machine vision applications. With the ability to transmit high-speed, high-resolution data, the standard is excellent for applications such as line scan cameras where real-time data and low delay is required. 3M is one of the originators of the Camera Link standard and has consistently led the way in developing total interconnect solutions for Camera Link, Power over Camera Link (PoCL) and PoCL lite applications.
Today, 3M™ Camera Link Cable Assemblies include Mini Delta Ribbon (MDR) and Shrunk Delta Ribbon (SDR) connectors, boardmount connectors and cable variations meeting a broad range of electrical and mechanical requirements. The 3M Camera Link cable assemblies all meet the specific requirements of transmission speed, cable distance, inter- and intra-device connections, signaling voltage and more.
With configuration options in base, medium and full (image data throughput rate), angled and locking screw connectors, 3M supports the industry with high quality, durable Camera Link cable assemblies for any unique design.
