The Wandboard is a low-cost multimedia rich Cortex-A9 board based on the NXP i.MX6 family of SoCs.

The Hobbitboard is a low-power Cortex-A7 board based around the NXP i.MX6UL SoC and comes with Brillo.

The spirit that drove the development was the fact that many of the development boards we see today are fun to play with but there is no flexibility in place to design a product beyond the initial stage. With the Wandboard we try to overcome this by choosing a System-on-Module approach that works with an easy-to-design baseboard that everyone can design and build with beginning engineering knowledge.

The Hobbitboard and Wandboard were developed as a not-for-profit project and all engineers connected to the continuing development do so on a volunteer basis. Please be nice to them when you ask them for help.
