BLDC Traction Motor Drive based on Renesas Solution
Reference Design of a smart motor driving circuit which offers the perfect combination of the RA6T2 MCU and RAA227063 3-phase smart driver for processing speed and power efficiency to address traction motors that have very small form factor limitations and a wide breadth of power requirements.The RAA227063 integrates the power management to power the driver and the MCU directly from the battery reducing overall circuitry. The IPS2200 inductive position sensor can provide the absolute position information and it can provide the incremental position sensing up to 17 bits of resolution using the four of the 12-bit ADCs of the RA6T2 MCU.
